For anyone who wants the battery information, here is what the battery reads: Logitech is using a Springpower Technology Li-Poly battery that’s rated for 750mAh at 3.7V (2.775Wh). The model number appears to be 383450. The battery measures roughly 50×35, +/-1mm.
my teardown was easy – i smashed it a few times on the wall
Well the buttons are more likly to get the doubleklicking syndrom than the battery i used my g903 Lightspeed for 5 months than the buttons broke just randomly klicking and unklick
Mouses*, not mice.
"Nothing special in here, it's just a shell" … Same man, same..
What if your g903 stops charging? I can use it when plugged in, and of I plug it in but have it turned off it looks like it's charging (the 3 lights fill and empty, indicating charging mode), but when you unplug it, it just stops working.
Will tearing it apart be worth it? Will it work with the powerplay mat with the battery not charging like this?
17:02 that moment when they skip the Torx screw and you don't realize it so you proceed with the teardown only to realize your lack of a Torx screwdriver ruins everything
Would have been really nice if you pulled it apart a bit more. I am trying to replace the switches because the G903 is plagued with double click issues due to the crappy omron switches.
Seriously, you look like a girl, without any masculinity. Won't it be gayTo be honest
Anyone else having double click issues with that mouse?
the tiny spokes in the mousewheel is for the tachometer that shines a light/laser through it, and "sees" when you rotate the wheel and translates that to the scroll function 🙂
Who else is here trying to fix the left click issue…..fuck this piece of shit mouse….
what size screw driver?
Why doesn't Logitech offer a battery replace for the G903? My battery is dying farily quickly after 1 year of usage.
shame i didnt learn what the switches were or anything from this, i have had 3 g903's so far and every one have had double clicking issues usualy in left button but this last one im returning has it worse in right mouse button… just hope my next one doesnt break like this.. idk what logitech did to have this high failure rate
Chinese made Omron switches. Not the Japanese manufactured version. On my 3rd mouse and they all have an eventual click issue within 6 months.
Thank you for making this video.
I couldn't find any information about the battery of the G903 somewhere else.
Any one thought about making a power core for standard Qi chargers? Like 3d printing a core and put a receiver coil in?

Disassembly "Logitech G502 Hero LIGHTSPEED Wireless " pl.
You said omron. Your mouse was. The new 903 mice have cheaper switches that die at 1000-10,000clicks
Thanks. Woulda been interested in how the wheel encoder works. Does not look like the encoder is on the shaft, but maybe related to the spokes on the wheel?
I have the G903 and mat as an upgrade from the Gigabyte Avia Osmium and it's amazing. Too bad the wireless charging doesn't work at all and no solution was found.
